Hey everyone,
Big news, our Annual General Meeting is coming up and we hope to see everyone there. We'll have some new Board of Director spots open so look below for details on how to get info to members for nomination if you're interested in helping grow the centre!
We're hosting our first Christmas Camps since pre-covid, registrations are now open so register while there's still spots - these will be fun packed days with our coaching team.
Our first Franco-Immigration week event was an amazing success, we partnered with Réseau du Nord to offer some fun tennis games to immigrants into Sudbury.
The next set of Adult and Junior programs will be bordering Christmas, so all upcoming programming will be half sessions (and half the cost of course!)
It's also important for me to mention we've put together a club info, policies, and etiquette page for everyone who plays at the club that can be found here. This will be an evolving page that we'll be expanding to give a full overview of all of the clubs history, policies, key contacts, committees, and more!
Finally we've done some nice little facility upgrades since our last newsletter, new divider nets, some fancy new toilet paper dispensers, sanding & repainting our light posts, and the installation of a new camera & security system!

Excited times! Our Annual General Meeting is coming up!
This year we will be hosting our Annual General Meeting inside the Sudbury Indoor Tennis Centre on November 27th starting at 4:00pm. There will be options to join virtually via Zoom for those who may be out of town for the event.
Before the event the link will be sent out and can be found on sudburytennis.ca/agm
We will have 3 open Board position the club is looking to fill, if you're interested in joining the SITC Board then click below and fill out this survey - we will be sending all responses to the membership 2 weeks prior to the AGM so everyone can get a good idea of who the potential nominees are. |

From Dec. 19th - Dec. 22nd we're running daily Christmas Camps!
For 4 days we'll be running Christmas Camps that run from 9:00am - 1:00pm, you can sign up for each day individually for $100, or for all four days for $300!
During the camps we'll be running tennis games and having crafts with our coaching team, It'll be a fun packed day for kids of all ages

Our Final Session of JR Programming for 2022!
There's been an amazing amount of interest in our junior programming for this last session, we had 140 kids weekly for just our Red, Orange & Green programming.
Since this upcoming programming borders christmas break we'll be only hosting 3 week programs rather than the standard 6 weeks.
We're excited for what 2023 holds for our junior players, there's been great demand and great development in the skills of our players.

It's been a great past month with lots of much needed improvements to the club! With our Junior Programs success we're hoping to continue expanding our programming in 2023 to meet demand.
In the last month we've been doing lots to improve the small things at the club, and we hope to continue this trend for the full year.
I hope to see everyone at our upcoming Annual General Meeting, we'll be sending out a list of nominees who filled out the survey and info on our bylaws & audited financials very soon.
